19 Weeks Old--October 16, 2008

19 Weeks Old
"I Want Candy!"
My Cutie Pie
Cameron amazes me every week. He is trying his darnest to sit up on his own. Laying down to play is still fun for him, but he really likes sitting up even more. He is fascinated by the world around him. My mom this week, because it was so warm, was able to have him outside. She said all he did was look at the leaves & the trees. He is so inquisitive that it takes me by surprise. I love watching him look at new things. Our objective this weekend is to take him to a Pumpkin Patch for his 1st Fall experience.

The outfit Cameron has on in these pics is too cute. I picked him up one day & said, "What is he wearing?" I knew it was not what I dressed him in the morning. Well, Rochelle bought him a cute little Halloween Outfit. She could not resist. So Thank You Rochelle for the cute outfit!!!!

A Nice Visit

Cameron & Aunt Amy
The three boys...Josh, Cameron & Jacob
Is this not the sweetest!
It had been awhile since Cameron has seen Aunt Amy & cousins Jacob & Joshua. It was a nice surprise when they arrived today. Aunt Amy brought a special gift for Cameron. She bought him a onesie that says "Baby's 1st Halloween" & a trick-or-treat bag with his name embroidered on it. It is too cute!!! Aunt Amy got to hold & love Cameron & Jacob got some one-on-one time with Cameron too. Of course I snapped a few pics!

Thank you Aunt Amy for the the cute gifts! It was very much appreciated!!! We love you all a great deal!!!

Apple Juice

1st Taste of Apple Juice
Another Picture...Seriously Mom!!!
Cameron got his 1st taste of Apple Juice on Saturday (10/11/2008). He got one ounce & gulped it down. He loved it!!! I will try him with 1 ounce day for a few days & see how it fits into our new routine. Saturday also marked the day that Cameron got cereal for breakfast too as well as dinner. He is loving it!!!

Phillies Playoff Game

Getting Ready to go into the Game

Phillies Win!
Bill & his family are HUGE Phillies fans. I like the Phillies as well & want to see them do well. Chip & Cheryl took Amy & Mike (Bill's sister & brother-in-law) to Game 1 of the NLDS where the Phillies beat the Brewers. The Phillies won that series & moved onto the NLCS. Cheryl got tickets for Game 2. Bill & I were invited to go. My mom picked up Cameron @ Rochelle's & spent the night here so we could go to the game (Thanks Mom!).

The Game was amazing! I had never been to a Playoff Game & the experience was FABULOUS! We all wore Phillies Gear. I had to borrow Bill's Jimmy Rollins Jersey which was quite huge on me, but it worked. The Phillies won 8-5 over the Dodgers. The Game was electrifying from beginning to end. Thank you Chip & Cheryl for your generosity! We really had a great time...a memory to last a lifetime!!! We love you!!

18 Weeks Old--October 9, 2008

18 Weeks Old...one of my Favorite Pics of Cameron
Such a Little Man!
Such a Sweet Face
Cameron has adapted to the cereal very well. He is eating all of it & has figured out how to eat it. This week he also got a special treat...Aunt Rhonda picked up Cameron & took him to her house. Cameron got to see cats for the first time & hang with Uncle Donn, Aunt Rhonda & Cousin Brandon. My mom could not get Cameron on Tuesday, so Rhonda volunteered. I was extremely grateful for this. Rhonda will also have Cameron on Oct. 18th when we go to a wedding. Donn & Rhonda have done such a tremendous job in raising Brianna & Brandon. If Bill & I can be 1/2 as good as parents as they are...we will be golden! Thank you Aunt Rhonda for picking up Cameron & taking such good care of him!! We Love You!

I almost forgot...Cameron rolled over from his back onto his belly this week! Big deal!! He already has rolled over from belly to back, so this was great!!!

1st Taste of Cereal

Getting ready for cereal
1st Bite
Loving it!
After a long, special day...ready for bed
We pulled out the camera, video camera, plastic bib, bowl & spoon! We were ready! Cameron was too little for his high chair, so placed him the bouncy seat, we just kept it from bouncing!! Cameron was not too sure about all this. I stripped off his clothes & off we went. He got more on his chin then in his mouth, but he certainly liked it. After a week of this, I can then give cereal to him in the morning & at dinner. Then we can start cereal 3 times a day! I cannot believe we are at this point already. It seems like yesterday he was only eating 2 ozs. of milk at a feeding. He is getting so big...I am really doing all I can to cherish every second! I know Bill & I will remember this day forever! Cameron David....I love you so!!!

4 Months Old--October 5, 2008

4 Months Old
You can't be surprised by the camera Cameron
Yeah...Mommy is taking MORE pictures!
Spending time with Cousin Donna
So...we went back to the Pediatricians Office for our 4 month check-up. You see, I do not agree with the all the shots they give to babies at once. Nor do I like the new shot that combines 4 vaccines into 1 shot. There is absolutely no need for all those vaccines at once...just my opinion. So I split them up, two a month, hence why I am at the Pediatrician every month.
Cameron weighed 14 lbs. 10 oz. & was 25 inches long. He was in the the 50% in both...again they can take these charts & shove them where the Sun does not shine!!
We were given the green light for cereal. So Cameron got his 1st taste of cereal actually on 10/4/2008, those pics are next! This time the Pediatrician did not not say wake him up at night...I must now have red pen in the chart that says "Do not tell this mother to wake her son or you will hear it!"
Cameron is doing so many more things. He plays with toys now. He still loves the old stand bys, but likes holding them now. Touching them & of course putting them in his mouth. He started to babble more & actually tries to talk to you, which is too cute. I will ask about his day & to tell Mommy all about it. He babbles & I repeat him & he laughs! I love it! I so enjoy spending that time with him. I would not trade it for the world!
This day also marked the 1st Baby Shower Cameron attended. He was so well behaved & barely made a sound. He got to spend time with my family. He loved sitting & playing with my cousin Donna. My family is soooooo kind...I love them! Donna, thanks for spending time with Cameron! I know he loved it!!!

17 Weeks Old--October 2, 2008

17 Weeks Old
PERFECT
So Handsome!
This week we went to the Doctor to have Cameron checked about his cold. I was also wondering if he was gassy because he would cry & kick his legs a lot. Well...I was none the too pleased when I left. The Dr. did not think it was gas. He basically informed me that although, 30 ozs, is the perfect amount to be feeding Cameron, I was feeding him too much at once. I fed Cameron 8 oz. in the morning then 2 7 ozs. throughout the day then another 8 before bed. Cameron on average is sleeping between 9-10 hours a night. The Dr. actually made me feel like I was doing permanent damage to Cameron by doing this. Once again I heard how I need to wake him at night to feed him.

So the Dr. did a thorough examination of Cameron thinking he would see an extended belly & such. I will use the words of the Dr. "PERFECT." Cameron was perfect from head to toe. After the statement, he AGAIN said get him up at night...my words, "I am NOT getting him at night so I suggest you think of something else you want me to do!" Why would I change anything when the Dr. said...HE IS PERFECT! I stopped him in his tracks...good. I was frustrated. I did not appreciate being made to feel like a horrible mother. Needless to say...I have not changed a thing! I also got my confirmation that Cameron is indeed teething. His bottom gums are swollen.

My munchkin is in fact PERFECT!!!! I knew it! These Pediatricians can take their charts & shove them you know where! That is all for my soap box today!!! The outfit in these pics...they are from Bill's mom's secretary...How adorable! Thanks Kathy!

16 Weeks Old--September 25, 2008

16 Weeks Old
Making a goofy face
My Little Munchkin
16 Weeks already....I cannot believe it. This week marked Cameron's 1st cold. Poor little guy had a hard time breathing & certainly did not like the nose sucker! I believed it was from teething. He drooled an awful lot, tried to put his fist in his mouth & seemed uncomfortable.

The shirt he has on these pics is from my mom. She found it @ Target...it says "I Love my Mummy." How Cute huh!!
