14 Weeks Old--September 11, 2008

14 Weeks Old
Love this Face!!!
Yes...another Eagles outfit!!
Cameron was 14 weeks yesterday & I swear he gets bigger everyday. I went back to work full-time this past week, so this was Cameron's 1st week on his schedule. He did well at Rochelle's house & also with my mom picking him up. I am so blessed that my mom can do this for me. I know she loves it too!

Cameron is enjoying so much more now. He loves Sesame Street. I think it is all the colors, but when I turn it on, he just watches the TV. I do not allow him much TV time at all. As a kid (Bill too) we did not watch a ton of TV, we played with toys, outside, puzzles, etc. I do not want Cameron watching a ton of TV & knowing the schedule of Nick JR & such like other kids I know. Do not get me wrong, I understand that when I am trying to accomplish things, the TV will be my best friend. But thanks to my best friend Suzanne (again), I have a ton of educational DVD's for Cameron like Sesame Street, Barney & Elmo.

Janet stopped by

Janet & Cameron
My friend Janet stopped by on Sunday as well to see Cameron for the 1st time. Bill & I work with Janet. Janet bought Cameron this wonderful CD. It is a CD of lullabies that is personalized. The singer inserts Cameron's name into the lullabies...it is so remarkable. I could not listen to it the 1st few times without crying. I am such a sap sometimes!!! Thank you Janet for visiting & for the cute CD...we really appreciate it!!!

Football Season Begins...Cameron's 1st

Resting before the Game
So peaceful
Looking GOOD
He even had Eagles socks on!!!
All of us dressed in our Eagles gear
September 7th marked the beginning of Sunday Football. I must admit, I look forward to Football Season. I love the anticipation of how well or bad the Eagles are going to do! I grew up loving the Steelers & going to IUP for college was great. However, a friend of mine was attending Syracuse University at the same time Donovan McNabb was their quarterback. I began to follow him & then he got drafted by the Eagles. So I followed him there & grew to like him even more. So I slowly became an Eagles Fan & now I love them!!! I do not think poor Cameron will have a choice in this house!

So we prepared for the day. Bill & I wear our Eagles Jerseys and of course, Cameron had his own outfit on!!! He looked too cute. Around 11:30 am, Cameron passed out on the playmat (he was resting up!) & he woke up about 15 minutes right before his 1st kick-off. We all cheered when Donovan threw the 1st touchdown of the season. We even sang the Eagles Fight Song. Cameron laughed & had a good time. It was a great day to share together. I know I will remember this day always!

Just a Cute Outfit

Looking Cute
Dealing with the hat
At this point...he has had it!
It was a little chilly last Saturday & Cameron and I were going to run errands with my mom. I put the above outfit on him...he looked too cute! He was not fond of the hat, but he kept it on.

A Sweet Little Picture

Maya & Cameron
This morning while Cameron & I were playing on my lap, Maya jumped up as usual. Cameron was just looking at me & laughing, when Maya rested her head right next to Cameron's head. Cameron stopped & leaned into Maya. It was so Sweet. I was able to capture this moment!

3 Months Old--September 5, 2008

3 Months Old
Looking too cute
Wondering how many pics he has to endure this round!
Just a few more Cameron...Promise!
I just love this face more then words can express!
Three months already! You know, I cannot imagine my life without Cameron & he has only been here for 3 months. We went for our 3 month check-up & follow-up shots this week. Last month the Pediatrician wanted to give him 4 shots at once...No Way I said! There is no reason they need to give 4 at once. I allowed 2 shots & that is why we had to return at 3 months.

I heard the same story...you really should wake him at night. Whatever...they are nuts. Cameron is sleeping 9-10 hours a night. I will not wake him. If he is hungry, according to the baby bible, my mom, Bill's mom & every other mother I have spoken to, he will wake up!!! So I increased his ounces & he is adjusting very well. He weighed 13 lbs. even (you were the closest Cheryl) & was 24 1/2 inches long. He grew almost 2 inches in one month. Rochelle calls him "String Bean."

He is reaching his milestones on or before the "schedule." I tried "Peek-A-Boo" with him about two weeks ago & there was no reaction. I read that babies begin to enjoy this at 4 months on average. So I tried it at the beginning of this week to see if I got a reaction. I sure did...he laughs & loves it. He anticipates my return. I love it! He is also really starting to look for me more. His face tries to find my voice, which touches my heart every time. He is grasping things now & even took out his pacifier and put it back in his mouth several times (Bill got to see this 1st). He is also fascinated by this V-Tech Nursery Rhyme Book Aunt Rhonda bought him. He is trying to move the little pieces to make it sing. He can get some (by accident I think), but I praise him anyway. I love to watch his face light up at the book...Thank you Aunt Rhonda for thinking of us & buying this book!

He is growing so much & I just love holding him! I know there will come a day when he will not want to be held by his mommy, so I am trying to get my share in now. When he starts crawling & walking, he will not want MOM to hold him anymore. So while he is still little & needs me to get around, I am going to love him up and hold him as much as possible. A child can never be surrounded by enough love and I want to make sure Cameron always has an overflow!

13 Weeks Old--September 4, 2008

13 Weeks Old
Of course my Mom Rocks!!!
Incredibly Sweet!
I will not write much here as Cameron turned 3 months the next day on the 5th. I love my little munchkin more & more each day. I am truly amazed by him & look forward to what each new day brings.

I love you Cameron...you are the most precious gift God has given me & I am truly thankful for that!
