World Series, Game 5 (Oct 27th)--Take 1

Mike, Amy, Bill, Chip, Cheryl & me before we went inside

1st Pitch by Cole Hamels

Cheryl & Chip ready to cheer
A few weeks ago, Bill's mom planned ahead on "what ifs." If the Phillies made the Playoffs, she would get 4 tickets to Game 1 of the NLDS. If the Phillies made it to the NLCS, she would again get 4 tickets to Game 2 of the NLCS. Bill & I went to that game with Chip & Cheryl. Cheryl then booked 6 tickets on a bus trip for the World Series, Game 5 IF the Phillies made the World Series. These were all big "what ifs", however they all came to pass!
So Chip, Cheryl, Amy, Mike, Bill & I got on the bus to attend Game 5 of the World Series...the potential clinching Game 5! It was exciting! We all were dressed in our Phillies Gear & were SUPER stoked to be attending such an awesome sporting event. Never in my life did I think I would ever get the opportunity to attend a World Series Game, never the less a potential clinching game where the Phillies could win.
We arrived about 2 hours before 1st pitch. I stood in massive lines to find Cameron a button for his memory box (found none by the way), ate a hot dog, got a hot chocolate in a souvenir mug & went off to my seat. The stadium was electric & ready for the game to begin. The ace for the Phillies, Cole Hamels, was ready to go. We were all praying the rain would hold off. Unfortunately, our prayers would not be answered.
We were all in our seats until about the 4th inning when the rains began to FALL, and fall hard! We had to watch the rest of the Game on a TV. BUMMER! When the Tampa Bay Rays tied the Game in the top of the sixth, everyone was devastated. Then they suspended play until further notice depending on the weather. So we trucked back to the bus & went home...wet, frustrated & disappointed! We would be in a holding pattern until the MLB would decide when the game would resume...Hence the title Take 1!!!!
A "Thank you" to my mom for spending the night with Cameron so we could attend the game, since we did not get home until 3 am!!!

Cameron & the Horse
I really wanted to take Cameron to the Pumpkin Patch for a few weeks, but something always came up. This week marked Cameron's 1st real cold. He was running a slight fever because of teething. Remember I said that tooth was coming soon...it arrived!
So my Mom & Dad went with me to the Pumpkin Patch so we could get some shots of Cameron in his Halloween Costume surrounded by the pumpkins. Cameron was a Pea in a Pod for Halloween. He looked too cute. A BIG Thank you to Suzanne for finding & buying this costume for Cameron as a gift. I told you all she was amazing! We took a ton of shots...shocker I know. I was grateful for the help as Bill was not feeling the best so could not go. That would come back to get me later in the week.
Cameron was in awe of everything. They had chickens, pigs & goats. Cameron just stared at them. His favorite thing though was getting up close & personal with the horse that ran the hay ride. The horse looked at Cameron & got real close. Cameron laughed & smiled. It was really special. I plan to make this a tradition. I enjoyed watching him take it all in. I love him more & more everyday & I am truly blessed & thankful to have him in my life...I love you Little Cameron!

Veggies

1st taste of Carrots
What a mess!
Cameron was able to start Veggies. Carrots were our first veggie on Saturday, October 25th. The video camera was out & with out fail so was my camera. Here are a few pics to celebrate this occasion!

"Aunt Suzanne" & Maddy visit

Cameron, Aunt Suzanne & Maddy Mae
Madison with Maya & Belle
Suzanne is my Best Friend...love her! With both of our schedules, it is hard to find time to get together. Madison & MacKenzie started Pre-School, have dance, soccer, etc & Suzanne runs her own business, so her free time is limited. I work long hours Monday-Thursday & have off Friday - Sunday. Not a great deal of time to get together, however we manage!
Suzanne & Maddy Mae stopped by on Saturday, October 25 for about an hour. Maddy could not wait to see Maya & Belle & Suzanne was itching to hold Cameron. Cameron was well behaved & Suzanne held him the whole time she was here. Maddy played with Belle & Maya of course. It was nice to catch up & spend some time with her.
Suzanne--I know I have said it before, but I love you more then I can say. You are an incredible friend & look forward to our children growing up together like we did! Can't wait for Black Friday Shopping...a whole day of catching up & shopping heaven!!!

Activity Center

Trying to figure out the Activity Center
Looking around
Found the Sunflower!
Eating the Sunflower
Cameron can finally get into his Baby Einstein Activity Center. His feet barely touch the floor, so his time in the Activity Center is limited to about 5-10 minutes. He loves it, but gets frustrated b/c he cannot get comfortable. Once his feet touch the floor he will be able to swivel to the four different stations. Right now...he loves the Sunflower! Of course, I snapped some shots of his 1st time playing.

Ready for bed with his new favorite toy...the Crab!

Cameron is changing so much every week. He amazes me all the time. This week marked the massive drooling...the 1st tooth is coming SOON! He is more aware of his surroundings & takes it all in. He is learning something new all the time. I enjoy his company so much. Bill & I can just sit & play with him for hours. We love him so & cannot imagine our lived without him. Just a few pics of Cameron @ 20 weeks for your pleasure...& yes he is wearing a Ralph Lauren turtleneck (Thank you Mom!)!!
