The Park

Riding the Purple Dinosaur
On the Swing
Having fun!
Pure Joy on his face!
Friday morning/afternoon, after a nice visit with Great-Aunt Jenny & cousin Donna, Cameron I went to the park. It was such a perfect day I could not resist. We rode the purple dinosaur & then Cameron's favorite....swing! He loved it! He laughed & smiled the whole time. It was such a pleasure to watch him have so much enjoyment from the swings. It was pure bliss on his face...it honestly brought me to tears. Shocker, I know! I enjoy just watching & observing Cameron. This was a fantastic day & one that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

Friday morning I dressed Cameron up for another "1st Postcard" to be sent out. Cameron's onesie said "My First Easter" with matching socks. I bought the cute little bunny ears to finish off the outfit. Cameron has a matching bib too...Thanks again Grandma Edgar!!! You ROCK! Enjoy these pics...I will miss these 1st a great deal!

Hey, what are you holding to get my attention!
We practice standing
Ready for Mommy to let go!
Not yet Munchkin...not yet!
Cameron is quite the sponge. He is really taking everything in. He started to clap this week. We have been trying to get him to do patty cake, but he did not seem interested. I took him to see Great-Grandma Florence, Great-Great Grandma Morgan & Grandma Fisher & when Great-Grandma Florence did Patty Cake...he clapped. What a stinker! Now he loves to clap. He also says his version of the word "Yuck." I have been telling him the puppies toys are yuckie then I would say "Yuck." Well now he says it. He is too cute for words if I do say so myself!

1st Visit with the Easter Bunny--March 22, 2009

1st Visit with the Easter Bunny
I decided on Sunday that I did not want to just sit around the house all day. It was still a little chilly to take Cameron to the park, so I decided to go the mall to walk around instead. I called my mom, whom of course was up for that! It turned out that the Easter Bunny was finally at the mall. I called Bill & he said go for it, so off to wait in the line were we. We were 1st in line @ 11 as the Easter Bunny was scheduled to appear at 11:30 am. Cameron was very well-behaved, which I could not say for some kids in line. When he finally saw the Easter Bunny...it was priceless. He was soooo fascinated by this tall, hairy creature. He sat on his lap & just stared him down. The pic above is his 1st reaction. Once I picked Cameron off the Easter Bunny's lap, he laughed & waved "bye-bye." It was too sweet.

41 Weeks Old--March 19, 2009

41 Weeks Old
I have my new walking shoes on!
Still taking pics Mom!
Ok...I will smile for you!
Look @ that coy little face!
Cameron was to the Dr. last Friday for his well (9 month) visit. He weighed 19 lbs. 14 oz. & was 29 inches long. This put him the 35% in weight, which the Dr. said was normal and the 75% in height. Of course, you know what I think of the almighty charts! He did well at the Dr. He got one shot & Grandma Edgar went along since she was off from work. Cameron has pretty much moved strictly to the regular/normal crawl. He has confidence now & can move quite quickly. He is getting braver everyday. He cruises quite a lot. He use to hold on with two hands, but now he uses one hand. Nervous Nelly are both Bill & I. I know he will suffer bumps & bruise along the way to this new independence. Of course, when he does fall & cry, Mommy scoops him up to tell him it is ok....I love just holding him!
Last weekend I took Cameron, for the 1st time in months, out in public with other people. I have been avoiding contact with others, but I bit the bullet & went. We ate at the Olive Garden with Grandma Edgar, Great-Aunt Kathleen, Great-Great Aunt Tootie & Cousin Joyce. Cameron was batting his eyes at the waitresses & made new friends. They stopped & fussed over him...He loved it! He was very well-behaved at the restaurant, which the waitresses complimented us on. I continue to pray every night that God continues to assist Bill & I in raising Cameron to be well-behaved, respectful & to know right from wrong. I also ask for Patience...a lot of patience!! We also went to the mall & Cameron was measured for his 1st pair of walking shoes at Stride Rite. We bought a good pair of shoes & a bigger pair of sandals for the summer. He again was well-behaved.
By the way--Cameron now says "Da-Da." Bill's heart just melted the 1st time.

1st St. Patrick's Day--March 17, 2009

1st St. Patrick's Day
My adorable little boy!
Smiling...for now!
Are these still on me Mommy?
Seriously...Enough already!
Another 1st has come & gone for my lil' munchkin! Cameron, thanks to Grandma Edgar, had the best outfit for 1st St. Patrick's Day. His onesies was the one from the Pics I sent out. His bib said "My 1st St. Patrick's Day" & of course he had socks that said the same thing. He looked adorable if I do say so myself. I put the little clover leafs on his head...you will see Cameron was not too pleased about it, but allowed it anyway!

More Funny Hair

"Alfalfa"
I am not sure if this picture does Cameron's hairdo any justice, but Bill kept calling Cameron "Alfalfa." It was quite the site.

40 Weeks Old--March 12, 2009

Looking to CUTE!
The regular crawl

Cameron loves this Wagon
40 Weeks....oh how the time goes by so quickly! Cameron had been going between the army crawl & the normal crawl. He sometimes uses the army crawl when he thinks he needs to be quick, but then will crawl normal from time to time. It is still hard for me to believe that he is 9 months old & counting. He has settled into a fairly regular routine. A short 1/2 hour to 45 minute bap in the morning, then a good 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon. He is up by 6-6:30 am & then ready for bed by 8-8:30 pm. He sleeps on average 10 to 10 1/2 hours a night. Knock on wood, but he a GREAT baby. Cameron is extremely pleasant & hardly cries. Usually when he does cry/gretz he is either hungry, sleepy or has taken a tumble trying out his new found legs! Enjoy the pics!

St. Patrick's Day Pics

This is the Pic we chose for the Postcard
Grandma Edgar bought Cameron the St. Patty's Bear
Are we alomost done Mommy?
I'm going to take off this hat!
Here I go!
Once again I dressed up my Little Guy for one of his 1st Pics to send. My Mom called me from Babies 'R Us months ago & asked me which outfit I wanted. Remember, I have avoided all things mall, restaurants, parties, etc to help keep Cameron healthy. The onesie says "I'm Your Lucky Charm." Bill decided on the outfit. He chose this one b/c he truly believes Cameron is our Lucky Charm. Especially since the Phillies won the World Series after 28 years the year Cameron was born. I rest my case! I love taking these pics & will miss the "1st's." There is only one more to share with you all then the 1st Party Invites will be going out! Enjoy these pics!!

9 Months Old--March 5, 2009

9 Months Old
Looking "Sweet" in the Nike gear
Getting ready to stand up!
Look Mommy..I am up!
Playing with his Mega Blocks
It is hard for me to believe that I am sitting here writing again about another month that has past in Cameron's life. 9 months old...it is going by way too fast for me! I will freely admit that I sometimes sit & cry that it has gone by this fast. Wait until Cameron's 1st Birthday. I will be a mess!!!!
I pulled Cameron an additional week from Rochelle to help him get better. Again, my sister agreed to come up & watch him since she was off from work one more week. It truly was a HUGE relief for me!
February came & went. I was hoping it would be a better month for Cameron. Well it was slightly better. 1st there was the ear infection, then the yeast infection & then the topper...the sinus infection! Gee! Cameron has had a rough winter. I have avoided everything possible this winter since the beginning of January. When I went to the Dr for the 500th time, he advised that this has been the worst cold/flu/sickness season he has seen in a long time. Go figure! We just need to now get through March & then the cold/flu/RSV/illness season is mostly over. YEAH!!!
Cameron is doing so many things. He is pulling himself up to a standing position, "cruising" from toy to toy & is way more vocal. He says "Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma" quite frequently and to be honest I cannot hear enough of it!!! Poor Bill though, no matter how many times we say "da-da-da-da" he will not say it. He says "ba-ba-ba-ba" & "pa-pa-pa-pa" but just not "da-da-da-da." I am sure it will happen soon. Cameron is learning the word "No" right now. It has been a challenge, but we are truly consistent. We have to be for him to know we mean business. Patience is something I pray for every night & I hope that God hears my prayers and helps me along as we raise Cameron.
Ok a few people I need to thank: My Mom once again! She steps up to the plate every time I ask. She will bend her schedule for me, goes to the store for me & I could go on & on & on. THANK YOU MOM. I love you so & Cameron loves you too. Aunt Rhonda--Thanks for checking on Cameron numerous times as well as babysitting when we went to the Fab Fuex Concert for a few hours! You are a wonderful sister-in-law & a wonderful aunt to Cameron. We love you! Aunt Kelly--Thank you for coming to our house to watch Cameron for 2 weeks in row! It really made our lives easier and settled my mind. Thanks for all the pics you sent me throughout the day of my lil' boy. It made me smile! I see in your eyes how much you love Cameron & he loves you too! Thank you for being so giving of your time! I love you! Grandma & Grandpa Fisher--Thanks for watching Cameron so I could take Bill out for his birthday dinner (even if it was only to Lorenzo's). You re-arranged your schedule to watch him & we were really grateful. Thank you!!

39 Weeks Old--March 5, 2009

39 Weeks Old
Are you still taking pics of me?
There is no getting away from this camera!
This will be short as Cameron turned 9 months old the same day. But yet again, to be consistent with my blog, I snapped separate pics! Enjoy!

Trying to Escape

Trying to Escape
Are you still watching me Mommy?
I guess there is no getting out of here huh?
We put up a baby gate between the playroom (our former dining room) & the kitchen as Cameron was crawling his way into the kitchen quite frequently. It is funny to see him pull up to a standing position & get on his tip toes to try to see over the gate into the kitchen. Like he is trying to escape. It is rather comical to tell you the truth!
