51 Weeks Old--May 28, 2009

51 Weeks Old
Looking too cute for words...
The shirt says, "Mommy's Prince Charming"
Riding the Hippo
Having fun!
One more week until B-day! Well we started Cameron on his new night-time routine. Cameron gets dressed for bed, we drink our cup of milk (formula yet), brush our teeth, read a book & go into the crib to sleep. I must tell you....this was harder for me then Cameron. He was already resisting me rocking him at night. As a matter of fact, the first night he wriggled out at night to go to sleep on his own in the crib, I cried. And cried! Bill was so sweet, but I knew he was growing up. YUCK! I do so miss rocking him to sleep. On the occasion he will let me...I still do. I cherish that time with him. I deeply miss it...can you tell! Of course, it should not be a shocker that I am crying now writing about it. I am such a SAP!

Hanging around the house....

Serious Face.....
Happy Face....
Funny Face!
Bill, Cameron & I were just hanging around the house one Saturday. I snapped these pics then. They are some of my favorites. Enjoy my lil' munchkin!

50 Weeks Old--May 21, 2009

50 Weeks Old
Mommy, I can't wait til' these weekly pics stop!
Love this goofy face he makes!
Thise noise tube is a huge hit with Cameron
Look at those blue eyes!
We reached the "50 Weeks" mark. Still in disbelief. At 11 months I decided I would begin weaning Cameron off the bottle. I was told so many horror stories about the weaning process that I wanted to get a jump start. I wanted Cameron to be off bottles by the time he turned 1 year old.
So the 1st Friday after he turned 11 months, we did the morning cup instead of the bottle. No issue at all. He really did not care in the least. I figured I would try out the lunch cup instead of bottle...same thing. No big deal. Why not try the dinner cup instead of bottle too. Once again, no big deal! I thought this was suppose to be hard! Cameron transitioned so well. I was able to switch him over to the cup @ all meals the 1st day. He is such a good baby! I, however, was reluctant to transition him over for the night bottle yet. I so enjoy our time at night. So I decided to not move him off the bottle at night...for now........

Sleeping

My peaceful little boy
I have been meaning to get a picture of Cameron sleeping for a while now...I finally did it. He was so peaceful & the flash did not disturb him one bit!

Opening gifts...

Opening up his Card
All his gifts!
Playing in the bag
He really, really like the bag!
My Aunt Kathleen & cousin Jackie cannot come to Cameron's 1st B-day Party, so they send there gift up to our house with my Mom. Cameron got nice things. He loved the bag his gifts were in. He got 200 Count Diapers, a Phillies warm-up suit, Phanatic onesie & a whole 4th of July outfit including shirt, shorts & socks. All was extremely generous...Thank you Great Aunt Kathleen, Great-Uncle Gerry, Cousins Jackie & Butch! It was very much appreciated!

Are the turkeys out yet?
Mmmm...these fingers are tasty!
The B-I-G 1 is rapidly approaching. I am still taking pics of Cameron every Thursday to document his weekly birthday. That is coming to an end soon...very sad for me. I am sure Cameron will be overjoyed when this stops. I so enjoy taking his picture. I look back through the 1st year album & see how much he has grown & changed over this 1st year. I cherish every moment.

Eating Pancakes

Enjoying the pancakes
Look at that messy face!
Bill & I fed Cameron pancakes for the 1st time a few days ago. He absolutely loved them. The day after Mother's Day, I decided to take the day off from work & spend it with my favorite guys. I snapped these pics of Cameron & his messy face eating pancakes & bananas.

First Mother's Day--May 10, 2009

1st Mother's Day...Mommy & Cameron
Cameron & Grandma Fisher
Grandma Edgar & Cameron

Daddy, Do we need this!?!
Mother's Day took on a whole new meaning this year. This was my 1st Mother's Day as a mother...not a fat, pregnant, soon-to-be mother! Bill let me sleep in. He got up with Cameron & fed him breakfast. Then as I awoke, Bill & Cameron brought me Breakfast in bed. The menu was waffles, toast & OJ. I had flowers on my tray as well. It was very nice. The whole day was beautiful from beginning to end. We visited Grandma Fisher & Grandma Edgar. We also stopped @ Bingo & visited Great-Grandma Florence & Great-Great Grandma Morgan.
My life is truly complete. I love my husband & son more then I can express into words. I am truly blessed!

I cannot believe I am even writing this down...1st Birthday! It was that time. I needed to send out Cameron's 1st B-day Invites. I put Cameron in his onesie that said "My First Birthday" & put on his crown that said "Baby's 1st Birthday" & we took some pics. I only needed a few shots b/c the 2nd one I took was the winner. He looked like such a big boy! I still cannot believe my lil' one will be one soon. Enjoy the pics.

Playing & Smiling
Making the "crunch" face
He loves that riding/walker Hippo
I do not think it is a scooter Cameron
Not much to write here....Cameron just turned 11 months on Tuesday. However, I am in the midst of planning his B-day Party. Bill says I am going overboard, but I honestly do not care! I will be taking his 1st Birthday Party Invite Pics this weekend so they can go out this week. I will be an emotional wreck these next couple of weeks!
A BIG thank you to Aunt Amy. Aunt Amy watched Cameron on Wednesday for us b/c Rochelle had to take her daughter to the Dr. It was much appreciated Aunt Amy....I hear Cameron & Joshua had fun playing together! Too Sweet!!!! Cameron loves you Aunt Amy!

11 Months Old--May 5, 2009

11 Month Old
Always putting something in his mouth!
Looking a bit annoyed!?!
Cameron loves this little Duck
Enough pics, seriously!!!!
I honestly am overwhelmed by the idea that Cameron will be a year old. Cameron is a cruising machine. He took a few steps on his own, however since the eye incident, he is less brave. Cannot blame the poor kid. He is talking more or jabbering more. He still says Mama, Dada & Yuck. His new favorite word...GO! He will say Go, go, go. It is quite funny. When Cameron had his play date with Madison & MacKenzie, Suzanne evaluated (not an extensive eval) Cameron's verbal progress. Suzanne is a Speech Pathologist. She said Cameron is advanced verbally. YEAH! We always talk to Cameron & not in baby talk. We do that sometimes, but not often. When he is playing with a toy, I tell him what he is playing with...example COW. I will say that is a COW, C-C-COW. The cow goes MOO. Stuff like that. I believe it helps. At least I like to think it helps. I even have letters for the tub & we spell words. All in good fun!
I wanted to mention earlier a BIG thank you to Aunt Suzanne. When we left the play date, by Saturn Vue was packed with new toys for Cameron. She gave Cameron a car for outside, new bath toys & a TON of Little People toys (Farm, house, carnival, people, airplane, animals)! Thank you Aunt Suzanne...you are always so generous to us!!!! Also a BIG happy birthday to you (May 6 I'm gonna be 6!)!!!!!

Brian & Ashley's Wedding

Brian Ashley
Class of 1994
Anthony & Jeneen (the parents to be)
Jeneen & Me
On the day of the Kentucky Derby, Bill was in the Brian & Ashley's wedding. So we had our babysitters (Grandma & Grandpa Fisher) & off I went. I was looking forward to a night out, but mainly to see some old friends...especially Jeneen! Jeneen called me about a month & half ago to tell me she was going to be a mom soon! I was sooooooo excited for her & could not wait to see her & hug her in person. It was nice to see some old friends from high school & just catch up. Ashley looked stunning & the day was lovely.
Thank you Grandma & Grandpa Fisher for watching Cameron. I know he a great time with you both!!!!

Kentucky Derby Pics--May 2, 2009

The horse "Belle" & the Jockey
Trying the eat the "whip"
The Picture we chose for the Postcard
To darn cure for words!
Please, no more pictures!!!!!!
Bill absolutely loves the Kentucky Derby & typically we have a Kentucky Derby Party. However, this year, Bill was in our friend's Brian wedding, so no party. Bill asked my Mom if she could make Cameron a jockey outfit so I could send out Postcards for Cameron's 1st Kentucky Derby. I bought some silk & my Mom & her friend made the outfit. It turned out too cute! The "whip" Cameron is holding is actually an old shoe horn that belonged to his Great-Grandfather, David Snyder. Grandpa...You are always with us. We do miss & love you dearly.
Thank you Mom for taking the time to make the outfit...you are wonderful!
