Although I think new mothers & babies need to be in the hospital longer then a day/two days, there is still nothing better then coming home. Bill had prepared our girls for Cameron by bringing home a blanket we wrapped Cameron in. They were curious about him right away. Maya wanted to crawl in the car seat with him & Belle was wondering if "it"was staying. They did well. We had visitors those 1st few days home & many brought food & gifts which was very generous and very much appreciated.

I was trying to figure out how I was going to manage this new baby. I most definitely got the "baby blues" though. Those of you who are mothers understand. You cry for no reason, feel overwhelmed & wonder "Can I do this?" The nurse who came to our home on Sunday was so wonderful. She really helped me feel better explaining it was normal. I would say the baby blues lasted about 2-3 weeks for me. Bill was a huge help. He was off with me those 1st two weeks which really helped me adjust to motherhood & the lack of sleep!!
