Generosity

Looking "Sharp" in the Jean Jacket
Ready to go out in style
Future Ralph Lauren Model
Cool Little Dude
Real quick about the attached photos...I love this jean jacket! My little man looks so darn cute, I can't stand it! My Dad calls Cameron his "Cool Little Dude" & I think these pictures sum that expression up!
Ok generosity....I have been so blessed by so many people. I pray every night with Cameron & God has answered so many prayers that there are too many to count to be honest, but I wanted to mention three people:

Suzanne: My Best Friend is amazing!!! I told her that of all the TONS of clothes Cameron got, the one thing he did not get was jeans for the winter. We had some shirts, but no pants. I told her that I wanted to come up one Friday & go the outlets so I could get some cheap little jeans at Children Place. I also told her that if she came across a "Pea in the Pod" Halloween Costume to let me know. I so want Cameron to be this for Halloween. 1st I get the call she found the "Pea in a Pod" & bought it as a gift for Cameron. She is remarkable! I then got a VM that advised I should go to her mom's house that she had a bag of stuff for me. I assumed it was DVD's, safety things, etc. I brought the bag home & was in shock. She went & bought Cameron 3 pair of jeans, a pair of cute black pants & an overall set. I literally broke down into tears. I called her & left a long, tearful message telling her that I am truly thankful to have her as my friend & honored to call her my best friend. To Suzanne...you amaze me with your friendship everyday. I seriously do not know what I would do without you & I glad I don't have to. I love you & so cannot wait for Cameron to grow up & love you as much as I do!!!

Cheryl (Bill's Mom): Bill's mom is awesome! You know people tell you horror stories about "Mother-In-Laws" & what they have to endure. I do not have this problem..THANK GOD! My mother-in-law is very generous. Chip & Cheryl invite us out to dinner at least twice a month, so it is a night of no dishes & good conversation. My mother-in-law also comes here to my house with formula, diapers, wipes, etc!!! These are all things that I am always in need of & can always use. I really cannot thank her enough for these things. Cameron is lucky to be able to call her "Grandma." Cheryl...Thank you for your generosity! It means the world to me & Bill. I just know that Cameron will love you as much as we do! Your time with us is the best gift I could ever receive!! I love you!

Mommy: My mom amazes me too! She listens to everything I say & never forgets the important things. She too arrives with diapers, wipes & formula. Anyone who know my mom, knows she is a SHOPPER!!! I mentioned to my mom that I wanted to pick up a few long sleeve onesies for Cameron to go with the cute jeans Suzanne bought & that I was really going to be in need of sleepers (heavy ones) for the upcoming winter months. The next day, my mom shows up with a bag of clothes....long sleeve onesies & heavy sleepers for winter. She bought more long sleeve onesies the other day too! I was so grateful. My mom also saves me money too by picking up Cameron from Rochelle & taking him to her house. I know that my mom & dad love this one on one time with Cameron. By doing this for me, it allows both Bill & I to work a four day work week so we can each spend one whole day alone with Cameron. The gift of time with your son is truly priceless & I am so grateful for it! Mom...I can only hope to be half the mother you were to me. You are a true example of how a mother should be towards her children (selfless, giving). Thank you for all of it...Thank you...Thank you...Thank you! I love you more then I can express into words!

Now that I have cried numerous times writing this, I am done! I love you Suzanne, Cheryl & Mom. My life would not be the same without you!!!!

15 Weeks Old--September 18, 2008

15 Weeks Old
My Sweet Angel
Yummy...fingers!
Cameron is certainly getting his own personality. I love it! He is so pleasant in the morning...nothing like Bill!!! He smiles & laughs when you go into to his room. For the most part though, he is extremely pleasant. He has his moments, but I am truly blessed with such an amazing little boy.
He amazes me everyday with the new things he learns. He discovered Cookie Monster this week on Sesame Street. I think it is because of his voice...you know "COOOOOKIE!" He also is fascinated by sporting events. He watches football & baseball in awe. I am not one of "those" mothers/fathers who think because they watch it their kid will be a sports genius! I am realistic. He likes the movement & action.
Overall Cameron is growing & learning more everyday. It is my honor & privilege to watch him grow!!!

3 Month Pictures

This was the one I picked!
SOOOOO Cute!!!
Just about had it!
Officially Done!!!
I decided to save some money & try to take Cameron's 3 month pictures myself. I would rather save that money for his 6 month/Christmas pictures. Bill bought me an awesome new digital camera for Christmas last year, so I gave it a try. I placed a white sheet over my glider & put the boppy under it. I dressed Cameron up & we took some snap shots. Considering I did it myself...I think they turned out pretty nice. I enhanced them at Wal-Mart so they looked pretty darn good. I enclosed a few for your viewing pleasure...Enjoy!

14 Weeks Old--September 11, 2008

14 Weeks Old
Love this Face!!!
Yes...another Eagles outfit!!
Cameron was 14 weeks yesterday & I swear he gets bigger everyday. I went back to work full-time this past week, so this was Cameron's 1st week on his schedule. He did well at Rochelle's house & also with my mom picking him up. I am so blessed that my mom can do this for me. I know she loves it too!

Cameron is enjoying so much more now. He loves Sesame Street. I think it is all the colors, but when I turn it on, he just watches the TV. I do not allow him much TV time at all. As a kid (Bill too) we did not watch a ton of TV, we played with toys, outside, puzzles, etc. I do not want Cameron watching a ton of TV & knowing the schedule of Nick JR & such like other kids I know. Do not get me wrong, I understand that when I am trying to accomplish things, the TV will be my best friend. But thanks to my best friend Suzanne (again), I have a ton of educational DVD's for Cameron like Sesame Street, Barney & Elmo.

Janet stopped by

Janet & Cameron
My friend Janet stopped by on Sunday as well to see Cameron for the 1st time. Bill & I work with Janet. Janet bought Cameron this wonderful CD. It is a CD of lullabies that is personalized. The singer inserts Cameron's name into the lullabies...it is so remarkable. I could not listen to it the 1st few times without crying. I am such a sap sometimes!!! Thank you Janet for visiting & for the cute CD...we really appreciate it!!!

Football Season Begins...Cameron's 1st

Resting before the Game
So peaceful
Looking GOOD
He even had Eagles socks on!!!
All of us dressed in our Eagles gear
September 7th marked the beginning of Sunday Football. I must admit, I look forward to Football Season. I love the anticipation of how well or bad the Eagles are going to do! I grew up loving the Steelers & going to IUP for college was great. However, a friend of mine was attending Syracuse University at the same time Donovan McNabb was their quarterback. I began to follow him & then he got drafted by the Eagles. So I followed him there & grew to like him even more. So I slowly became an Eagles Fan & now I love them!!! I do not think poor Cameron will have a choice in this house!

So we prepared for the day. Bill & I wear our Eagles Jerseys and of course, Cameron had his own outfit on!!! He looked too cute. Around 11:30 am, Cameron passed out on the playmat (he was resting up!) & he woke up about 15 minutes right before his 1st kick-off. We all cheered when Donovan threw the 1st touchdown of the season. We even sang the Eagles Fight Song. Cameron laughed & had a good time. It was a great day to share together. I know I will remember this day always!

Just a Cute Outfit

Looking Cute
Dealing with the hat
At this point...he has had it!
It was a little chilly last Saturday & Cameron and I were going to run errands with my mom. I put the above outfit on him...he looked too cute! He was not fond of the hat, but he kept it on.

A Sweet Little Picture

Maya & Cameron
This morning while Cameron & I were playing on my lap, Maya jumped up as usual. Cameron was just looking at me & laughing, when Maya rested her head right next to Cameron's head. Cameron stopped & leaned into Maya. It was so Sweet. I was able to capture this moment!

3 Months Old--September 5, 2008

3 Months Old
Looking too cute
Wondering how many pics he has to endure this round!
Just a few more Cameron...Promise!
I just love this face more then words can express!
Three months already! You know, I cannot imagine my life without Cameron & he has only been here for 3 months. We went for our 3 month check-up & follow-up shots this week. Last month the Pediatrician wanted to give him 4 shots at once...No Way I said! There is no reason they need to give 4 at once. I allowed 2 shots & that is why we had to return at 3 months.

I heard the same story...you really should wake him at night. Whatever...they are nuts. Cameron is sleeping 9-10 hours a night. I will not wake him. If he is hungry, according to the baby bible, my mom, Bill's mom & every other mother I have spoken to, he will wake up!!! So I increased his ounces & he is adjusting very well. He weighed 13 lbs. even (you were the closest Cheryl) & was 24 1/2 inches long. He grew almost 2 inches in one month. Rochelle calls him "String Bean."

He is reaching his milestones on or before the "schedule." I tried "Peek-A-Boo" with him about two weeks ago & there was no reaction. I read that babies begin to enjoy this at 4 months on average. So I tried it at the beginning of this week to see if I got a reaction. I sure did...he laughs & loves it. He anticipates my return. I love it! He is also really starting to look for me more. His face tries to find my voice, which touches my heart every time. He is grasping things now & even took out his pacifier and put it back in his mouth several times (Bill got to see this 1st). He is also fascinated by this V-Tech Nursery Rhyme Book Aunt Rhonda bought him. He is trying to move the little pieces to make it sing. He can get some (by accident I think), but I praise him anyway. I love to watch his face light up at the book...Thank you Aunt Rhonda for thinking of us & buying this book!

He is growing so much & I just love holding him! I know there will come a day when he will not want to be held by his mommy, so I am trying to get my share in now. When he starts crawling & walking, he will not want MOM to hold him anymore. So while he is still little & needs me to get around, I am going to love him up and hold him as much as possible. A child can never be surrounded by enough love and I want to make sure Cameron always has an overflow!

13 Weeks Old--September 4, 2008

13 Weeks Old
Of course my Mom Rocks!!!
Incredibly Sweet!
I will not write much here as Cameron turned 3 months the next day on the 5th. I love my little munchkin more & more each day. I am truly amazed by him & look forward to what each new day brings.

I love you Cameron...you are the most precious gift God has given me & I am truly thankful for that!
